Are You Being Victim or Mother?

"All that I give is given to myself"
~ ACIM

Today we enter the Full Moon for May.

An exciting one because it's magic is in Scorpio, meaning that it is a time for Lovers, sacred sexuality, and profound transformation down to our emotional depths.

As we approach a weekend in which we celebrate our Mother's, it couldn't come at a better time.

For today we must ask ourselves this one question:

"Am I playing victim or being Mother?"

You see the energies of this moon symbolize the energies it takes to become a Mother.

In the world of archetypes, which are the ways in which we reflect the psychological patterns of self-care and worthiness, and the stage we have reached in our growth and evolution, there is the Archetype of Mother (positive) or The Victim (shadow).

It is said that the victim is the lowest level of energy and awareness of the all.

The Victim believes that everything is happening to them.
Fate is completely out of their control.
That they have done nothing to deserve their circumstance.
(and often use this exact wording)

The Mother though is one of the most important of all archetypes.

She represents our ability to care for and nourish ourselves on every level.
The capacity to create and tend to our inner child and dreams.
How to respect our needs, including intimacy, pleasure, and play.

So on this Full Moon I am offering you this medicine to move from Victim to Mother, or at least elevate your awareness at a time when the energy is at the Highest.

Take some time to sit with yourself and be truthful, but also know that Scorpio reminds us to take pleasure in the journey understanding that this is what cleanses, heals, and empowers.

Journal Questions:

~ recall a time in the past when you felt like a victim. When you reflect back now what are your feelings around it? How would you handle the situation differently now with total love and respect for yourself?

~ ask yourself "Am I willing to move on?"
Either way, write about how you will or what you are still holding on to.

~ Am I truly looking after my own physical, emotional, energetic needs?
If not, how might I begin to.
If so, how might I enhance it.

~ How often am I giving myself off from the stress and strain of life?
Do I know when I need rest and relaxation?
Am I honouring that?

~ How can I norish and care for myself even better right now?

And know, we are ALL Mother's my dear, or capable of becoming one.

Whether you are an intentional mother, babying a new biz, birthing a book, fur baby mom, or caring for a friend in need, the Mother archetype will sustain you and provide the energy you need to be happy and healthy in all ways.

So my Mother's Day/Full Moon Medicine for you is:

~ carve out 1 hour this week (minimum!) but preferable one day to nourish your every need, on your own.

Only ask for help to make it happen.
Not to get it done.

May we come to know and understand that we are worthy, deserving, and capable of tending to our own well-being, hearts, and Soul each and every day.

May we have the strength and courage to follow through on our continued healing, empowerment, and transformation.

May we take time to care for ourselves, each other, and our world.

May we release the blocks, doubts, and fears that keep us from Love, abundance, and peace within.
For your Highest Good + Greatest Joy may you reconcile.

In Love + Tenderness,
